Gosh, just when I thought I could take a "break" after all those crazy assignments (at least for a while), coming for lectures reminded me of the many upcoming deadlines. Ahhh shall start on them from today onwards! (:

There's:
1. Comm Issues Grp Assignment Literature Review - 17 July
2. WebD Grp Assignment Online Campaign - couple of weeks from now (final presentation)
3. Newswriting FA2 (Press Conference) - 13 July
4. Radio On-Air Presentation Test/Dalet - 16 July and the following thurs.
5. PR Media Kit Assignment - 17 July

Gah gotta start work this week.
Shall research on the PR Media Kit, Lit Review for today. (Read up the assignment task sheet and all)

Now that the flea market for I&E is over, thats one huge thing gone. Although it didn't go too well, lots of hiccups here and there, but I'm so glad we managed to pull it off. At least we managed to get the carts and shops set up and all!

Oh yes, almost forgot. I have to write it down here to remind myself - PR Quiz for first 4 lectures/chapters.
And, I have to start studying for exams soon oh my gosh it's so soon!!!!!! :O

Okayyy shall go sort out my printed stuffs now. Gotta go toilet too. HAHAHA WebD lecture's over!! :b

BACK TO SCHOOOOL!

My two weeks break was darn short! Okay fine it just seemed that way cos of an entire week spent in Malacca for History Maker Camp 7!!!!!
Awesome time spent with the ministry, with Him (:
I've received a lot, learnt a lot, and I'm sure I grew in the Lord too.
Had a blessed time there!

Anyways, St. Hilda's had their performance for the Anglican Schools' Concert on saturday and I was there to just help out and such (: Was the P6s last performance!! Awww, gonna miss them! (;

Can't wait for the next meals meetup!! After Bong and Seow's exams I think.

Sighs it's back to mundane school life again. And I've assignments/quizes/whatever due this week and the next. Another radio test coming up too! Gosh, the first semester is ending really really soon and I'm gonna be halfway through my second year :O Getting older now! Turning 18 soon omg can't wait!!

OMG I srsly don't know how others survive WebD.

Tried doing flash, but it totally doesn't work (either that or it doesn't come out how I want it to) so I'm gonna tell Darren about it later and hopefully he'll be able to help me with it. Gonna do a flash intro as well as keep the flash part for the portfolio bit. Hmm ohwells.

Yaye.

School work's been piling up - Radio due wk 5. WebD due wk 6 (i think). Another WebD starts wk 8 (??) and newswriting poll assignment and omg countless others. I wish they had a combined doc to show all the modules and their deadlines ): I feel so lost. I hate feeling lost. Poo.

And yes Joy, I'm interviewing Bong's dad cos we're doing a radio segment thingy on divorce in the family! :b So cool right!! Interviewing him hehe.

Omgomg. I LOVE GYM CLASSES :D Hehehe! Managed to do a front tuck and landed on my feet so kewlzxzxzxz :b

Looking forward to my first class! Shall go and have fun dancing man! Miss dancing! The audition dance taught by Steffi (sp.?) was so darn cool! I LOVE ITTTTTT (: Taught it to Audrey Meixuan and Richelle. AHAHAH Audrey learn dance so kewt! :b "transforming" her dress into shorts and all. HAHA!

Anyways, shall be going out for dinner in a while's time! Yes, late dinner I know. Probably gonna see a doctor too, having slight fever I think :/ Sighs ohwells.

K shall go packpackpack and there's newswriting tmr! Oh gosh, gotta do my poll stuffs too. Darn it.

School Update

Yes Joy, I am updating now!

Hahaha, haven't done a good job of updating actually :b Just realised that once school starts, everything starts piling up again! But I really need a place to write down my thoughts and all (: and for people like my bestfriend Joyboy (who's in Aussieland playing with sexy and zombie mice right now) to know whats going on in my life! HAHA.

Okay so anyways, school has started and the assignments are coming in real quick! Like we have WebD milestone due in Week 3 already! Gosh. Radio's due in Week 5 and I think we're gonna be interviewing Bong's dad! :b Hehe so interesting!

Been hanging out with my wonderful group of classmates/friends - Dan, Marissa, Ruiyi, YJ, Alexis (: HAHA the funniest/most amusing people ever.
Like how Alexis and I were going to donate blood today :b HAHAH! Goodness.

School's been great, I'm enjoying the company, I'm enjoying the lessons (even though sometimes I really feel damn tired! What with the 9 to 6 lectures) and well, I'm enjoying school (: The lecturers/tutors are nice, some are just damn amusing ("coool hunh!?" and "just CHILL" :b) I seriously cannot forget those, ever!

Cheer's been great as well (: I'm in Legacy All Stars now, hope to learn new stuffs and polish up my basics. Training's been good! Aching like crazy after every training. Doesn't help that I have gymnastic classes the day right after training days!!

Gymnastic classes are soooo super fun!! (: Taking it with Audrey and the RP people. I really really enjoy myself so much over there! Hehe!

I've also signed up for NRA auditions, and my audition is on the 6th of May, after News Writing tutorial at 5.30pm! Hope I get in again (: I wanna go for the once a week classes, and pick up new techniques, continue dancing. I miss dancing. I miss my ballet class too. Saw Cass at RP the other day!! (: Miss those fun times while preparing for concert! HAHA. Miss my seniors in ballet (: Hope they're all doing great, in Uni and everything.

Kid's going to BKK with Audrey and Feon tomorrow!! (or, well technically today in a couple of hours time :b)
I pray for their safety over in BKK, no swine flu, no riots, nothing to harm them whatsoever! (: AMEN!

Alright, shall go sort out my documents and start on some of my homework and revision!! LEADS test on monday, submission for milestone on tues, radio stuffs to plan out (!!) and IS Events things to discuss. Never-ending list of to-dos :b

Gotta get started!!

On a side-note, I'M GOING TO HISTORY MAKERS CAMP 09!!!! :D Praise God, my prayers were answered (: Soooo excited!! Even though it's only in June... but STILL!!

Siti: My fellow Disney fan who taught me Cheng Yao (: Luo Zhi Xiang is damn cool I tell you! Hahaha. Anyways, it was such an experience working with you, Siti. The strongest female base (well actually I've got a chance to work with the strongest female bases in diff batches of Magnum, all in MaXtreme!). Thank you Siti (: (I think I've already said most of it to you after Cheerobics!) Heh.
Zaza: You've been sooo amazing Za!! No words to describe, seriously. I'm really proud of you as well. We did awesome (; And it was great being able to stunt with you since usually when we were in Magnum we couldn't exactly stunt together :b Hehe! Thank you, for always believing that I could do it, giving me encouragement and everything. I love trainings with you! (:

I'm gonna miss training with Rexaz as well! Made so many new friends there (: And they're all so nice. Love you too Rexaz! Thanks for always cheering us on (:

I got my (slightly) early birthday presents/wishes from Zaza and Danny and (one of) my present(s) from Kid the night before already at RP (: THANKYOU ZAZA AND DAN for the super awesome cool crumpler wallet and pouch! :D and KID! for the awesome moleskine which I totally didn't expect!! :D
Woke up in the morning to happy birthday messages, one of which from JOYBOY all the way in aussie!! Hehe! Man, miss you joyboy! You'll be coming back soon! Yaye can't wait! (;

So anyways, went to school and had lecture dayyy.. (which means it was a long day ahead)
Class sang a birthday song for me in the lecture theatre :D HEHEH, and after break I had a brownie on my seat with a paper attached to it from Kim and Kath!! ((: HAHAH triple K yo!

Locvid lecture ended early, as always! So met up with Kid, Zaza and Danny for dinner! (Esther and Denise had training ): )
We went over to Adams Road (our fav hangout these days) and had dinner at the food centre there and omg I lovee the food there! :b After that we went to Island Creamery to put our bags down and walked over to Gastronomia to look around and stuffs. Bought a few small cakes there and went back to Island Creamery for ice-cream! Went to the toilet and when I came out, they had one of the cakes for me with a candle on it! :D :D Beamssxzx. What a lovely surprise man! Heheh. And sooo, we enjoyed our ice-cream and all and went home soon afterrrr.

And I really thought this was my birthday celebration.

13NOV2008

School as usual, from 2 to 6 so I couldn't go down to st. hilda's with Kid and Zaza but I was gonna stay over at Kid's place cos Locvid the next day was at 8am! So anywayss, got a message from Kid saying that we were going out for dinner with Za and Dan after class, so I'd to wait for Dan (since his class was right next to mine) and we'd all meet up together.

So okayy, fast forward to after class! Was waiting outside the classrooms at Blk 56 when I saw the dragonboat ladies running past and Phin leading. Omg man, they were running campus and cheering at the same time :O But anyways, called Kid to let her know that I've ended class and was waiting for Dan, so she said to call after Dan came out. Called again when Dan was released from class and was told to wait at Cheers at school bus stop cos they (Kid & Za) were taking a cab over from St.Hilda's cos they got held up at the Principal's office or something of that sort.

While waiting, decided to watch Heroes with Dan over at cheers when I got a call from Kid saying that Denise was at home and didn't dare to leave the house cos of a certain situation and that Phin was at training and Denise was crying really bad. Omg I panicked I tell you!!!! Wanted to cab over to Denise's house already, but Kid said it was alright and that they were already on their way there and Dan and I could just take a bus and meet them there.

Left school and took a bus over to Denise's place, and I was sooo panicky I kept asking how many more stops, and when we finally alighted I was like telling Dan "I think we should hurry" and whatnot.

Got to the guardhouse of Denise's place and called Kid to let them know we were almost reaching already so they could open the glass panel thingy for us.

Walked in and I kept looking out the wholeeee time! Didn't realise that Dan was lagging somewhat behind me and had no sense of urgency at all -.-

So anyways, we were waiting outside cos they took terribly long to open the door. And when they did, finally, Kid was like "omg, Denise is seriously crying really badly. Both Zaza and I can't console her. I think you're the only one who can cheer her up. Go cheer her up!" And I walked into the house and turned right (the house was exceptionally dark) and saw Denise and Madmad outside the kitchen holding a cake with lit candles and they all started singing me happy birthday!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Surprise, surprise! Hhahaha and I started tearing :b

As you can see in the background, Denise also decorated her house for my birthday :b And had to keep telling me about it. HAHAHA AWW THANKYOU ((:

Settled down for dinner with pizzas and drumlets and some other food (twas supposed to be a bbq party but it was raining so yes, pizza party instead!)
Kid said she had something to show me in her bag which was in Denise's room, and I followed. Thennnnnn, Zaza was like "eh I need to take something!" and when the door opened I got the surprise of my life!!! And I literally shouted/screamed "AAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! BONGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Cos Bong was standing right at the door holding out my present :D:D

Heehee my sneaky friends went to invite her as well :b

Esther and Phin came soon after, and we had loads of fun just chilling out and everything. I think Bong was very amused by Dan. HAHAHAHAHAHA :b
And my cheer/poly friends were very amused by Bong's accent. HAAHAHA funny funny (:

Anyways, I think we forgot to have a group picture taken ):
But it's okay! I loved it anyway!!

Okayy, I really haven't found the time to update my xanga at all. School stuff are already starting to pile up in the third week (going fourth!) and well, I just re-organised my stuffs and got the shock of my life man!

At least I've been super organised since school started (: Yaye me! I printed a monthly calendar thingy to write down my homework and stuffs to be done by when and so on.

I AM TURNING 17 IN LIKE, 10 DAYS ((:

Yaye! Then Denise, Esther and Kid can't continue teasing about me being 16 any longer! :b Teehee!

Okayyy, I think I gotta go sleep now. It's already almost 2am and I'm freaking tired after today. Out for dinner earlier on with Za and Kid, with Denise joining us slightly later after her performance and Phin joining all of us for dessert at Island Creamery. Shopping at Cold Storage after that and a walk in Cluny Park at night was super fun! Awesome company (:

Yaye school's started already! (:

I was surprisingly looking forward to school starting! So excited that I couldn't sleep the night before :b That's a first for me, considering that I've never looked forward to school, EVER. Hahah.

But anyways, school's been great so far (: Missed the school canteen(s) food and all!! Monday's my IS day, as usual. Just that this semester I'll be taking S&W (sports & wellness), which is actually equivalent to P.E and I'm taking vball! :D My other IS module would be CATS, and I'm aiming to do well for that like my last sem's IS modules! (;

I've to do quite well for this sem if I wanna pull up my last sem's GPA. Aiming high this time around! (:

Just had WebGraph tutorial and we had a photoshop session! :b Hehe, reminds me of the computer classes we used to have in MG in sec1 and sec2. I remember Miss Tok teaching me! Hahaha class was super fun man! :b We played around with flash and all, making little movies here and there, playing with photoshop doing up all the surrealism stuffs.

There's WebGraph homework! But I'm gonna go buy a mouse first cos it's seriously hard to do all the lasso-ing with the touchpad thingy. We've to make this sorta potato head man :b Hehe so cute!

Okayyy, I'm waiting for Kid to end her lessons now before meeting Esther and Denise (I think!) Maybe I should go over to the library to borrow movies to watch while waiting :b
